Nevada Grape Growers and Winemakers Org Celebrates With Homemade Wines, Custom Menu
December 30, 2019
The new Nevada Grape Growers and Winemakers Assocation celebrated their impending launch during Christmas week with a winemaker dinner at Reno’s Wild River Grille. Story continues below…
The charter members met in advance with Wild River chefs to preview homemade Nevada wines.
“We said, ‘Hey, how about we all bring the wines down and meet with your chefs, and let you taste the wine and build a menu around the wine?’” said co-founder Stuard Michell. “We didn’t know what we were going to get,” Michell told GBN.
The resulting six-course menu featured wine made by three of the four founders; Dyette Family Vineyard, Twin Mustang Vineyard, and Peavine Cellars.
The Grape Growers and Winemakers will launch formally in January. More photos below…
